I bought this doll for my mother about 40 years ago in an antique store. At the time I knew nothing about Shirley dolls. She\'shas a face similar to the 17\" Shirley\'s but has a mohair wig which appears to be woven into her head, The dress looks like it\'s one of Shirley\'s but and fits her perfectly but has no tag. I\'ve tried doing some research but came up with nothing. She is marked on the back of her head Ideal Doll St-17 as well as on her back. She\'s in very good condition withblemishes I can see. She has a piece of plastic gauged out of one of her shoes and her mohair ringlets have been held over the years with small bobbi pins which are starting to lose their hold. Please look closely at the pictures and ask questions before offerding.
