\"Que Sera, Sera\"!
I am pleased to offer this striking 2 piece suit in a lovely textured wool blend fabric woven with a golden metallic thread. The golden threads create an elegant floral design throughout the medium to heavy weight fabric. This was obviously a very expensive and fashionable piece in its day! I understand the former owner was involved in the Arts in the Syracuse, NY area.
The coat has a longer fashionable length that also provides additional coverage and warmth in Winter temperatures. The sleeves are 3/4 vintage length and are embellished with an unusual curved piece of Mahogany Mink fur, that is repeated at the collar. There is a very unusual bit of beading under the mink piece on each cuff. Crazy pretty! There are four matching fabric buttons front and center for easy don/doff. There are generously sized pockets tucked inside each side seam. The jacket is lined in a lovely creamy colored silk.
The skirt offers a simple modified A line/wiggle shape. There is no fabric for lengthening; it has been lengthened previously. There is a posterior nylon zipper for closure. The skirt is lined with the same fabric as the jacket.

I did not dry clean this. The fabric on theinside of the posterior collar showsslight wear, like jewelry may havedisturbed the fabric a bit; not visible when worn. This garment is at the tailors presently for a small seam repair on the lining.
