\"BOZO THE CLOWN\" Halloween COSTUME - (c) Capitol Records, Inc. / Larry Harmon Pictures Corp. / 1950s Collegeville Costumes No. 207. 9\" x 11\" x 3\" colorful graphic window box (original cellophane is still intact). Includes molded plastic face mask, graphic fabric playsuit, and fabric head cap. Box marked - BOZO, THE CLOWN 207 LARGE (12 - 14) \"VELVET TOUCH\" DECORATIONS (c) Capitol Records, Inc. This boxed costume is based on the \"Capitol Records\" Bozo. An uncommon Bozo and/or Halloween character display. Condition of MASK is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Several mild surface creases with several small edge tears (largest being 1/2\" at bottom). Mask is still nicely shaped with bright, vibrant color. Original elastic band is missing. Condition of BOX is considered FAIR to POOR with miscellaneous surface/stain/edge wear. Moderate surface creasing with several moderate edge tears (largest being a 1\" tear on right side of window die-cut). One 3/8\" corner lid edge separation. Original window cellophane is still intact with one 5/8\" tear (glue has loosened on top area). Condition of PLAYSUIT is considered FAIR to POOR with extensive fabric staining, tears and splits. Fabric HEAD CAP appears to have one plastic tie string replaced with a fabric tie. Fabric JUMPSUIT is in a state of deterioration and should be handled with extreme care to prevent further condition issues. Bozo/clown graphics on jumpsuit front are worn, but still bold and appealing. Despite obvious defects, we feel this is still a displayable example by most standards (see photos). An scarce addition for any BOZO THE CLOWN, MASQUERADE COSTUME and/or Halloween MEMORABILIA collection.
