1950's Original Robbie The Robot Made Japan 14" Minty Bright Clean In Box Showa For Sale
This is the REAL deal here. Absolutley the vintage original Made in Japan Robbie the Robot from the 1950's. Not any remake. THIS IS THE BIG 14 INCH VERSION. I bought this from the original owner that got it as a child. At the time he was older and simply doing other things as a teenager so this robot got put away and has stayed in the same house at his parents all these years. His dad put batteries in it when he first got it ran it on the kitchen floor and that is about it. I have checked it carefully and it is in perfect working order. The lights are nice and bright and he walks briskly. He has always been stored at room temperature . No loud funny noices other than how he is supposed to sound. His whole finish is as bright glossy clean as new. LOOK AT THE BOTTOM . PERFECT. NO MARKS FROM USE. No dents or dings. Perfectly smooth finish like when new. His clear bubble is perfect. Not scratchy or dull. Nice crisp and clear. The battey compartments as shown nice and clean. i can't imagine finding one much better. WOW and the box is with it. The box is completely intact and still a great display. A few tape tears on the sides from being wrapped as a present all those years ago but nothing in the main graphics. The front display is so awesome. No cornersplits . Really a straght box. Well taken care of over the years. This is the prize piece for any collection.
