This VINTAGE 1950s SINGER SEWHANDY MODEL 20 child’s sewing machine is in thecollectible rare Krinkle Tan color with original clamp and box. Most of these machines were black, butSinger made several limited edition models in red, blue, and tan.
The SEWHANDY MODEL 20is a sturdy little, hand crank,all metal machine and was built to last. It is 7”wide including the knob, 6.5 inches tall, and approximately 3 - 3 1/2inches deep (base and sewing surface). The driving handle turnsnormally and thetension screw, presser bar lifter, presser foot, seam guide,looper, stitch regulator, spool pin with felt ring, needle bar, and presser bar are all intact. There is no rust on the machine parts, but the moving parts should be oiled with Singer machine oil before using.
The body of the machine is in excellentvintage all most like new condition with some light wear where the clamp connects the machine to a table.The chrome sewing surface is bright and shiny with no rust, andthe box is in rough shape ,taped together in several place .
