1950s United Ball Bowler? Coin BOWLING MACHINE Postcard Juke Box; Resort Rudyard:
$8.50

Description: Unposted Chrome Postcard showing the Interior of the Bar and Restaurant at the O\'Connors Resort, on U.S. 2, Rudyard, Michigan - Owners Zip and Zada; Modern Cabins. Mounted deer horns; a sunglass display and bear advertisement sit atop the upright piano at the upper right corner. Also, highly collectible rough hewn wood tables and chairs.
**The highlight of this postcard is the coin-operated bowling machine at center (please see enlarged photo view in 2nd of above 4 photos). Other than having played on one of these (already antique at the time) while snowmobiling probably 4 decades ago(!), I am not well versed in coin operated machines; however, I did chance on photo and information on the internet that identified a nearly identical machine as a 1950s \"United Ball Bowler Bowling Machine\" the only difference I could see was in the placement of the metal coin access panel, a slightly different design on the coin ooperation function, and something different about the \"leg\" below. I do apoligize if I have mistakenly identified the machine. But I\'m pretty sure I can say it is a bowling machine!
**NOTE Sunday December 17th: I just noticed that there is also a Juke Box in this postcard; when using \"Zoom\" feature, the top portion can be seen at the far right end of the bar. Thanks for looking!Condition: The postcard is in Good to Good Plus, strong and complete condition, showing light wear of age with slight bumping to corners, small chips to corner color and slightly along edges (1st photo above); there is also a barely visible water mark along the bottom edge of the card on the back (please see 4th of 4 photos provided above). The stain is very light, from approximately 3/4\" high at the left edge to 1/3\" a bit past the middle. The card remains strong, and appears to have dried well without damage. Again, it is a very light stain and I see no impact on the front image, but I did wish to point it out.
Shipping: Shipping is $1.75 first class in a cardboard mailer - for additional cost, please let me know if you would prefer Priority Mail Shipping and/or postal insurance added. I am always happy to combine winning sale items to save on shipping costs!
Please see the other postcards, including 2 with other coin-operated machines, I have for sale this week and let me know if you have any questions regarding this or another sale item. Thank you for looking in on this sale!
