More photos of the camera and lens:Camera: https://imgur.com/a/KXreELens: is a beautiful example of an early Leica M3 with matching Elmar M 5cm f3.5 lens. Only a few thousand of these lenses were made in M mount with the overwhelming majoring made in screw mount which requires an adaptor to fit Leica M cameras.
It is a joy to use and is near silent making it perfect for street photography. The lens has zero distortion and is tack sharp. I am only selling it as I prefer the workflow of an SLR camera.
Cosmetic Condition:The camera is in excellent cosmetic condition with a beautiful, glowing patina which the early M3\'s are renowned for.
The lens is in near-mint condition with no major scratches or imperfections.
Mechanical condition of the camera:Everything works as expected. All shutter speeds fire and are reasonably accurate. The rangefinder focus patch is accurate. The dual-stroke winding function is smooth.
The viewfinder frame lines are clear and easily visible. The viewfinder is a little cloudy but does not hamper the visibility of the viewfinder.
Mechanical condition of the lens:This lens has recently been serviced by a Leica dealer in Japan.The focus ring is smooth and the aperture blades are clean and oil free. There are some minor dust specs internally, but nothing that will effect your photos.
