This is a very nice looking, working, 1954 Singer Featherweight 221 sewing machine. The serial number reads AL701004, it was made in Elizabethport New Jersey. I tested it by plugging it in and using the foot peddle, and it is in operational, you still may want to get it looked at just to make sure it\'s in the best running condition it can be in, being I\'m not a seamstress I don\'t know if it is its optimal running condition. The black finish is shinny but there is some hairline scratches if you look close enough on the flat plate to you can see the scratches, and some of the gold has rubbed off in certain areas (please look at all the photos)It comes with the original carrying case that is in good condition, and It also coming with other sewing accessories that I thought the sewer might like to have as 62 wood spools of thread in an old tin (please see photo)I accept Paypal for payment.
