This is a really nice Lefton china bookend (single--1) depicting an African Elephant! It\'s in beautiful condition and would look great in an office or library!It would be a \"right side\" bookend for it to be facing to the front.
It\'s made of ceramic and is hollow; it\'s actually very light weight so it wouldn\'t hold back heavy books though it could hold back paperbacks or just be a decor piece.
Its colors are white with gold trim; the actual elephant is a yellowish-tan color.
Measurements are: 5 1/4\" X 3 1/8\" X 4 5/8\" tall; it weighs less than one pound.The paper on the bottom is very worn and peeling off---could easily be reglued.
