The Spartacus Model Kit No. 405-98 is from 1964 from Aurora and was a reissue of the 1959 Roman Gladiator With Sword kit with the addition of a new action diorama base and new box art.

This 1/8 scale plastic model kit is molded in white and contains one figure of a Roman Gladiator with a sword and shield in a combat stance.

The model measures approximately 9 1/2\" tall when assembled and comes complete with an arena diorama base which includes a wall, broken sword, broken shield, shattered helmet and severed arm and a name plate that reads \"Roman Gladiator 220 A.D.\".

The box measures 13 1/4\" x 5 1/4\" x 2 1/4\" and features a painting of Spartacus with a sword and shield victorious in the Colosseum.

This model kit is 100% complete including the original instruction sheet that features a short history on The Gladiators.

The helmet, shield, severed hand and right hand have all been assembled but not painted and the body has been painted but not assembled.

The box is in very good condition with NO split or repaired corners or litho tears but does have a few minor black paint speckles on the lid and creasing on the bottom side panel.
