Fun vintage travel brochure features pictures, mapand information about Fredericksburg, Virginia, home to George Washington and known as \"The Civil War Battlefield City.\" There is also a letter from the Fredericksburg city manager. It\'s on City of Fredericksburg letterhead. Also included is a little ad that looks like a Confederate 500 dollar bill. The back side of the fake bill is an ad for the National Park and four battlefields. Brochure is 8.5 x 22.\" Folds closed to 3.75 x 8.5.\" The bill is 3.25 x 7.\" From an interesting estate sale. The husband was a local veterinarian whowas a pilot. I found thousands of new, old stock travel brochures. The wife must have spent all her free time writing to various cities and travel attractions to ask for information. Also included is the original envelope in which I found the brochure and letter. It has a postmark from 1967. Interesting to see. The brochureis in good condition with only a bit of edge wear. I don\'t think they were removed from the envelope after it was originally read. The envelope has yellowing, ripping and a bit of staining.
