This is #PH-3 (ALLAN STANLEY) from a set of 120Shirriff Desertcoins. Please Note: This is a scarce short print coin. These came as a premium in packages of Salada Tea and Shirriff Deserts in theearly 1960\'s. It is ingoodcondition but is showing a small piece of the plastic insert (disc) missing.1 3/8\" plastic with paper insert and a plastic disc covering picture for protection.

I looked at this a bit closer under a glass just to double check a few things. There is a small section of this plastic cover missing. You can see that the top portion where the missing plastic is rounded. Looks to me to be a manufacturer flaw rather than a crack and break. If a piece had been broken out it would have been more jagged. I was able to gently lift this plastic cover from the coin. I have taken a picture with the plastic cover removed.. There are no major marks to the surface but it is showing a very slight yellowing on the right hand side nearer the edge. That would be because of the exposure that area seen from not being covered. The plastic does fit in fairly snug still even with the small area missing. There are some minor marks to the plastic surface
