Here\'s the 1970 The Kinsmen Plain Aluminum Doubloon. The doubloon measures 39 mm or 1 1/2\" in Payment due within 48 hours of purchase. Note: The obverse features the Kinsmen \"Tree of Life\" Logo. The reverse features Lafitte\'s Blacksmith Shop located in New Orleans Historic French Quarter and reads \"JEAN AND PIERRE...BLACKSMITH SHOP...1970.\" This doubloon was struck on an Aluminum Planchette and is much nicer than it appears in the photos. The Kinsmen were a New Orleans Area Carnival Club which rode in one of the Mardi Gras Day Truck Parades. They were a small Group of a dozen or so adults and all of their doubloons were issued in very limited number. Great piece of Kinsmen, Jean and Pierre Lafitte, City of New Orleans and Mardi Gras Memorabilia! (Unless specifically described as \'toning\' any Gold, Green, Purple or Blue Hues seen on any item are the reflection of a Mardi Gras Banner which hangs above my desk.)
