1973, 1st edition - first printing, The Outlaw: Josey Wales, w/signature of the author Asa Forrest Carter set in as shown. This was his first book, self published. Classic Civil rebel era story made famous by the movie with Clint Eastwood starring in the Josey Wales cowboy rebel role. After a very short run of published books (perhaps 75), most of the books were destroyed with but a mere handful (four that I know of) survived. 146 pages, with his signature Asa Carter.
