1978 school bus completely renovated into a RAGBRAI/party bus. Owned by Team DayDrinkers. Top rack has a 24\'x7.5\' deck with removable bike racks that can fit 18 bikes. 2 plastic storage bins on top as well. Comfortably seats 18 with standing room for up to 40 total! The seats in the front and in the back fold out into beds so it can sleep 4. Stereo has CD & AUX input, 4 speakers are wired with room to move. Runs great, but needs new gas tank as the current one has rusted a hole, a replacement tank will run around $300. We have owned it for 8 years and almost everything has been repaired or replaced on this bus: drive shaft, steering box, distributor cap, rotor, ignition module, thermostat, rebuilt transmission, carb kit, float, exhaust, master cylinder, brakes & brake lines, starter solenoid, new batteries, 4 new tires & 2 new rims, windshield blades, right front wheel cylinders, tail pipe and a bunch of other miscellaneous repairs. We have well over $25k in this bus! Registered as an RV so no specific driver\'s license is necessary. Lots of internal storage. Room for a grill on the back deck. 34\' total length & very easy to drive. Has a handicap lift that we open & use as a bar. Separate battery power for internal electricity. Plug-in air conditioner. We\'ve taken it tailgating, on canoe trips, camping, bike rides, to the races, used it for wedding receptions, to shuttle people to/from events, bachelor/bachelorette parties, girls night out, to/from the Iowa State Fair, concerts, wine tasting tours. This bus has been mentioned in the Wall Street Journal and appeared in many pictures from the St. Patty\'s Day parade in the DSM Register! This bus would be the perfect start to a tiny house with everything that has been repaired/replaced!!
