Some people have asked about the black and white portion being original line art. It is not. It is the original paste up artwork. If you see a color overlay that was hand drawn and colored. Hope that helps to clarify.

A collector who was closely associated with Gordy Toys previously owned this item. I was given the opportunity to purchase this piece many years ago, and it has remained in my collection ever since.

Up for sale is the original 1981 MarvelSpider-man and Captain America/ Scooby Doo / Flintstones/ Yogi Bearlayout artwork for the Gordy brand SuperStraw toys.

Now a few cool rare things to note; 1) This piece has 4 different cartoon series characters represented on one piece, 2) Two different companies (Marvel and Hanna Barbera), and 3) The super straw toys are EXTREMLY HARD TO FIND in production package yet alone the layout artwork!

The backing is made up of bainbridge board, and attached is a single overlay sheet with atan cover. The piece measures 14 1/4\" wideby 143/4\" tall. The artwork isfrom Provenzano Studios, Inc. located in New York, New York. The originals were delivered to Mr. Henry Gordy at Gordy toys in New York back in 1981. After they were approved the layout was filed away at Gordy Toys archives. Please see the pictures for details.

This piece has agreatshots of Spider-man, Captain America, Fred Flintstone, Pebbles, Yogi Bear, and Scooby Doo. This is truly a piece of history. If not sold it will go back into our private collection.

The coloring was achieved in airbrush, and possibly professional markers.
