This sale is for the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1984 on the front. On the back there is a date stamp of April 5, 1984 6:50 p.m., so this probably was published around April 6, 1984. Bob Bell, who was Bozo for 24 years on Bozo\'s Circus, taped his last \"Bozo\'s Circus\" on April 4, 1984. This cartoon (dated on the back, April 5, 1984) came out soon after that final taping, obviously is an homage to Bob Bell. The artwork measures approx. 11-1/2\" x 17-1/2\". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. On the back you can see some markings / notes made by Sun-Times workers. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few small marks/smudges on the art - on the back there is some transfer from other art that was stored underneath it. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator. Jack Higgins has worked at the Chicago Sun-Times for over 35 years and won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1989.
