What can I say. This is one of my favorite cards! (And the most famous baseball card ever printed!) I have a 9.5 GEM in my personal collection... however this one is a \"MINT\" BGS graded 9. But a fantastic card none the less. This is the original printing \"Rick Face\" error, which you should clearly be able to see on the bat handle. A great card for your collection... and really fun to show off. :)
This is aBGS (Beckett)Graded card. The card in the picture is the EXACT card you willreceive. If you have additional specific questions about this card, please feel free to ask me. Most of my descriptions are generic to save me a lot of time.
Getting these cards graded by Beckett is about $8 per card; so in a lot of cases... the value of the card barely covers that. Please remember... you\'re also paying for the case, as well as having someone tell you exactly how good that card is... so you don\'t risk buying a card without really knowing the condition! Please don\'t offer me the same price as you see non-graded singles listing for. I will decline your offer.If you would like a non-graded card, without a case... I may have one available.
If you\'re not familiar with Beckett Grading Services, they are regarded as the top 3rd party (meaning not you or me) grading service, with the most accurate grades and the highest quality and best looking cases. (They are also the most expensive grading service.) Take a look at the case in detail in the picture, they are very nice. The card is \"sealed\" into the case, and it is laser melted closed by Beckett. It is a tamper proof case and you basically have to destroy the case to take the card out. You can get them out, without too much trouble... but \"tamper proof\" means you can\'t pull one card and put another in (of lesser quality) without destroying the case.
