This isa1995 Disney ENESCO Pocahontas Porcelain / Ceramic Music Box, Mint in Box.

The music boxplays \"Just Around the Bend\" from the animated film. The music box is beautifully painted with nice details.A niceadded touch is a genuine leather tag embossed with \"POCAHONTAS\",attached to the top circumference with a leather thong.

My recollection is that wepurchased the music boxin 1995 when we lived near Disneyland,at one of the shopsat the Disneyland Hotel.Since examining the music box at that time,it has been put away for the last 20 years.

The main photo shows the music box, the protective styrofoam inserts, and the original box. Theclear plastic bag that goes in the styrofoam shell is still present as well.The styrofoamshell is about 7\" wide and the music box is just a little under that in width, and about 5\" tall x 4\" deep.

I looking for thisparticular music box online, I concluded that it must be a relatively rare item.

At the time of the original listing, this was one ofquite a few Disneytoy, plush animal, and collectible listings being added. We also have a variety of other Disney collectibles, some vintage, in our store.

Condition

Themusic box isinmintcondition the original boxes. It is in excellent working condition, and the on /off switch on the back works correctly.

The box has a number of spots of wear, seen as white dots and streaks, on the back panel (whre the barcode is), and on one adjacent side panel. There is also alittle corner wear. The box was store in a good manner when I encountered it, so this may have been rubbing / shelf wear that was present when we bought the music box, but I do not remember for sure if that was the visit our store to view a wide variety of antique, vintage and contemporary items.
