Sellers are having their accounts suspended by if thier DSR ratings falls below 4.5 out of 5.So please be very conciousof that aspect of response.

IF YOU ARE AT ALL NOT HAPPY WITH ANY ASPECT OF THE SERVICE WE PROVIDE PLEASE GET IN TOUCH BEFORE YOU LEAVE response OR OPEN A CASE - THANK YOU. are helping family dispose ofa vast collection of antiques, collectables and jewelleryaccrued over 50 year period. We are no experts -ouridentification descriptions are quite broadso please look at the pictures close up to get a good idea of what you are offerding on. We will describe the items as we see them pointing outdamage in the written condition report below as well as the images provided.

Description:

A very rare novelty decorated half sized brass coal bucket or normal sized ice bucket.

Dating to 1880-1900 this bucket has been extremely well engineered with rivetted handle and nice joints.

This appears to be of Naval significance - or is this a Victorian tourist piece?

There are 2 images on the side which are very detailed. I dont know the process involved on getting the images on the metal but it is very impressive and detailed work.

the first scene is of a tall ship or galleon, named the Tasmania, crashing through the waves. the style of this work reminds us ofWilliam De Morgan designs. Is the boat from Australia

On the other side there is a scene ofLondons Tower Bridge in front of the Tower of London. There is a man boating under the bridge and various plants/trees in the forground.

The sides have been polishedlightly to show the images off and the inside and base have been left unpolished.

Condition:Overall in good order with little wear to the images on the side. The handle and rivetted attachments are in strong shape. there are a couple of small dents to the side areas, the biggest being around 2 cms but quite shallow.

(PLEASE ALSO USE PICTURES AS A CONDITION GUIDE)

Size: not including the handle the main body of the bucket is 17cms highx 16 cms diameter at the top rim

TERMS & CONDITIONS

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION / response

- I hope you are very happy with your purchase.

- I work hard to satisfy every customer that has bought an item from me so you feel comfortable leaving positive response and nothing less than an overall Detailed Seller Rating (DSR) of 5.

- For whatever reason, if you are considering giving a low DSR, please do write to me and give me an opportunity to address your concerns first. You may think that you are leaving a reasonable rating by giving a seller DSR\'s of 4****\'s, but \'s response system treats anything less than a 5*****\'s as sub-standard and penalizes sellers for DSR ratings that average under 5.00, which means it count\'s against me on my response score.

After you have received the item and have left response, i will know you are happy with the item and i will leave positive response to you.
