19c Antique French Delft Faience Pair of Footed Urns HP Scenes Ships Beautiful:

~Rare Pair Delft Urns~

Thisis a gorgeouspair of 19th century delft faience footed urns...each urn stands on three curved feet, and each has mythological creature-formed handles. The lids have a fruit knop for a handle, what looks like a pear. They are highly decorated,front and back,with hand painted scenes ofsailing ships, a house and windmill by a lake, and two different pastoral scenes. The sides have handpainted flowers and insects. Each urn measures 14 3/8\" tall. Both are in excellent overall condition-- there is one chip underneath the rim of one lid, and just a few small glaze flakes, all extremely minor, examine photos. Rare, extraordinary, beautiful pair!
