Bring history into your for your consideration is a fabulous Antique French Sterling Silver Tea Coffee Service Set by Francois-Alphonse DEBAIN, active 1847-1864. The set including tea/coffee pot, sugar bowl and a pair of sugar tongs; total 3 pieces. The design is most elegant Napoleon III era style, having sophisticated smooth curvy silhouette and decorated with fine guilloche engine-turned engraving and pearl border. There are hand engraved oval cartouches with highly decorative interlaced monogram “MP” or “MJ” on a side of the pot and bowl. Excellent condition and ready to grace your table. Don’t miss out this fabulous set!Hallmarked the French Minerva No.1 mark, which guaranteed .950 purity solid sterling silver, used in Paris since 1838. This is one of the highest quality silver content, purer than standard .925 sterling silver. Maker\'s mark is that of ”Francois-Alphonse Debain”, 62 rue du Temple then 140 rue du Temple, worked in Paris 1847 till 1864. He is probably father or grandfather to the famous Art Nouveau silversmith Alphonse Debain.Measurements

Excellent Condition as age. There are some minor sign of normal use, age-related light scratches to note. Otherwise in quite excellent shape and ready to use. Some black spots appeared in the photos are refraction of camera.
