19th C Inlaid Slate Pietra Dura Floral Plaque Paperweight:

This is a 19th century slate inlaidpietra dura paperweight or plaque depicting flowers. It measures 17cm by 10.3cmand has a bevel to the rear, as though possibly once framed. The inlay is welldone and all present. One faint hairline on the slate from one leaf to theedge, but it is just on the surface and does not appear to penetrate the blockat all. A nice object..
