19th c Rogers Olive Ptrn Silverplate Punch Ladle:

The second picture seems to suggest that there is a reddish tinge in or on the silver near the bowl. There isn’t. That’s a reflection.

Large, impressive, and generous old “Olive” pattern silverplate punch ladle, 13 1/4” long, with a large (4 ¼” x 3 ¾”), sweeping bowl and handle arched dramatically at the end. Embossed leaf pattern front and back; there’s a double scroll and leaf on the back of the bowl, where it joins the handle. Signed “1847 Rogers Bros. A1.” No monogram. Large and showy ladle in excess of 100 years old, in very good condition. There is a little area of light color dots in the plate in the bowl; no bends, dents, repair, or loss of pattern. This is a really large ladle.

International shipping is by USPS First Class International up to 4 pounds; over that must be shipped Priority. Oversized packages must be shipped Priority International, regardless of weight. Books are sent via USPS Media Mail.
