The figurine is measured approximately4.5 in x 3.0 in x 5.5in by height.The bottom has the well known glazed crossed blue swords which is the hallmarkof Meissen and is right underneath the base of this figurine; the incisednumber is 909. The figurine displays a touch of nature that Meissen artists worked upon. The goose has a realistic visual to it, making it almost life-like! The goose is surrounded by its light gray babies and is looking dramatically towards the distance. It is standing on a colored base with hand painted foliage. This basic yet exquisite piece is a perfect addition to any collector and a marvelous start to those who are just beginning to collect.
