This is a Great looking Late 19th Century Figural Cast Iron Fireplace Insert Cover or Door featuring a Repousse Relief style Repousse Cameo of a Victorian Lady with Flowing Art Nouveau inspired hair and Floral Wreaths in the corners. The old Gold Painted Finish displays very well and there are No Structural Issues to note. After a Good Cleaning or Perhaps a Sandblasting and Repaint, this Beauty would be a Welcome addition to any period Estate. This 100+ year old Figural Cast Iron Fireplace Insert (along with many other items listed this week) are fresh from Dealer Storage & have not been on the Market for Over 10 years.

This piece is Solid with light oxidation and wear to the finish. There are No Chips or Cracks to the metal and this one is ready for use or display. There is soiling all around from years of being in barn storage. Surface oxidation but nothing serious Ready for a New Life or Some Paint.
