19thC Art Nouveau Theater Bronzed Iron Lady Plaque
This is a Beautiful and fairly Large late 19th Century Bronzed Cast Iron Figural Wall Plaque featuring a Nicely Cast Nude with Putti\'s or Winged Angels all around. the lightly aged Bronze finish still displays well in the original Wooden Frame. This old Plaque was reportedly (according to the old tag) removed from a late 19th Century Play House or Theater somwhere in New Jersey along with another similar piece that we also have listed tonight. This Impressive Wall Plaque (along with many other items listed this week) are fresh from Dealer Storage & have not been on the Market for Over 10 years.

This old Beauty is as Solid as can be with light wear to the Bronzed / Brass Finish on the Cast Iron Portion. It is unmarked but easily dates to the 1890\'s and is mounted in the original period frame that has 4 holes from being Mounted to the Wall with Decorative Bolts that were cut off when removed. There are a few scuffs and scratches to the wood and the edges are lightly worn but overall this piece displays very well.
