DescriptionRare Antique French 19thC Barbotine Majolica Earthenware Hanging Basket featuring Fabulous Striking Deep Lime Green Colourway and Lovely Design, making an enviable addition to any collection-or indeed for use.
Discovered at a Brocante in the heart of the Normandy region of Northern France, it will probably have originated from one of the Sarreguemine or Luneville type manufacturers and displays an embossed Foliage design-embossed stamped / marked with numbers 21 / 1
Dating Circa mid-late 1800\'s- this is a typical piece of uneven and coarse manufacture commensurate with age which doesn\'t detract and only adds to the character of this Stunning piece.
In very good Vintage condition with just a few Grazes to the outer rim but no other chips or cracks. Original Hanging Chain is present.
Measures a large 12.00 inches diameter and approx 7.50 inches deep.Unpacked weight is 1,650kgs
