This is a late 19th century Cantonese famille rose vase with applied dogs of fo and lizards around the neck. The vase has two panels depicting scenes from Chinese life with figures - each scene is different - and alternating panels with flowers, a bird and butterflies. The background is also decorated with butterflies and flowers. The flared top rim is shaped and decorated. Size of vase is 25cms height, top diameter is 11cms and base diameter is 8.5cms all sizes approx. Please note there is wear to the gilded finish in particular to the dogs of fo and the lizards so please see all images. Apologises for shadows.
