Beautiful, antique, door pulls made by "Reading Hardware Company" of  Reading, PA during the 1880\'s. Each pull has a large back plate, a thumb latch, and a handle.  All parts are made of solid, heavy, thick, cast iron. Also included are 2  bolts and 2 setscrews to secure the handles, and 2 pins to secure the thumb latches.

The pulls have an intricate Aesthetic (Eastlake) style design called, "Windsor."

We removed them from a big, entry door that we salvaged from  North-Central Pennsylvania. We couldn\'t tell when we got the door because  the pulls were heavily painted and secured to the door, but once we removed  the screws and lifted one of the pulls off of the door, we found that it was  broken in 3 pieces (see last 2 photos). Once we removed the paint, and  cleaned and polished all parts, we attempted to glue the 3 pieces back  together using an industrial-strength epoxy. The small piece stuck, but the  bigger piece would break off again whenever we would put it through a stress  test. We will glue it again before shipping, but it may separate again in 2  pieces. However, even if it does separate, once you fasten the parts to the  door with screws, there will be no need for glue as the screws will keep the  2 parts together.

Otherwise, the pieces are in great shape free of any flaws. Except for the 2 thumb latches; the the details are sharp and show few signs of wear.
