Double Feature:ONE OF THE MISSING: Should He Live or Die? An adaptation of the short story by Ambrose Bierce, set during America\'s Civil War, it follows the grim fortunes of a scout who becomes trapped in the rubble of a bombed-out house behind enemy lines.AN OCCURENCE AT OWL CREEK BRIDGE: Based on the Ambrose Bierce short story and set during the Civil War, a Southern man has been condemned to die by hanging for his attempt to sabotage a railroad bridge. first became aquainted with an \"Occurence At Owl Creek Bridge\" when it was shown as a \"Twilight Zone\" episode back in the 1960\'s. I am told that this is the un-edited, full 28-minute version. Either way this is a great short story, based on the work of Ambrose Beirce, fascinatingly interpreted to television.I must warn you though that if you are looking for more of the same from the DVD\'s other content you will not find it. \"One Of The Missing\" is awful. They say its based on an AB short story. Then you find out in an interview with Ray Bradbury (found in the extras) that the director (J.D. Feigelson) changed so much of the original story.(Somewhere there should be guidelines for using the phrase \"based upon\". Like when they say \"based on a true story\". Then you come to find that it shared only the most frivolous connection.)Also found in the extras is a \"Bonus\" short story called \"The Bowman\". This was both written, produced, and directed by Mr. Feigelson and is painfully awful. In closing I want to to be fair to J.D. Feigelson by mentioning that he did write the story that would go on to be the 1981 made-for-TV cult classic \"Dark Night of the Scarecrow\". TO THE BUYERS
