Up for the sale are 2beautiful antique 19thcentury Qi\'ing dynasty Chinese silkpanels with uncutcollars and borders embroidered on them. Were intended to decoratea Manchu lady\'sinformalrobe.
On a baby bluesilk material finely embroidered in bright multicolored silk threads using finest satinstitches.
Feature blooming flowers and flying butterflies.
Extremely finely worked piece- just look at the pictures!
Each of the panels measure approximately 32.5\" (82.6 cm) long x 15\" (38.1cm) wide.
Condition: good antiquecondition overall, with no damages to the embroidered parts themselves, just slight fading in spots to the silk background material. Were most likely framed, covered with glass and hang on a display (looks like traces of glue on the very edges of the silks).
