Offered from a local estate are a pair of antique Gorham (lion/Anchor/G hallmark) Sterling SilverLarge round bowl GUMBO SPOONS in the CAMBRIDGE Pattern patented in 1899
These spoons date to around WWIand have a light script monogram \'CVC\'
They are about 6 7/8\" long quite heavy (2.66 ounces) and look 10 years old, not 100there are no dents deep scratches or other damage but they are antique and do have the lightoverall rubbing scratches that appear to be from polishing
This is a beautiful and ornate pattern with flowers and gadrooning on front and back, decoration down on to the beginning of thebowl in the back and a beautiful crest
