If you love these old candy containers to display during the holidays then you might want to add this pair of bunnies to your Easter festivities! Here we have two antique German paper mâché bunny rabbit candy containers! They date to about the 1920\'s. The yellow bunny stands about 4 3/4\" high, and his little brown partner is almost 4\" tall. On the larger of the pair, the head is removable to reveal the hollowed out body where small candies could be stored to delight the lucky recipient. This larger of the two has some condition issues to note, which I encourage you to read about in the seller notes. He wears an old satin bow around his neck which is a nice complement to the pink paint hues used to accent the yellow. The brown bunny may have been a table decoration or filled with candy from the bottom, and placed in the Easter basket along with the rest of the holiday cache. So sweet! 🐰
