I bought a collection of antique dolls from an estate so please check my seller\'s list for more. This listing is for a set of two unusual old Japanese dolls. One is seated and has a quiver of arrows on his back and has interesting details on his white face wiht glass eyes, carved hands, and black hair. He is wearing an elaborate gold brocade costume with layers at the neck, some kind of sash or belt, and tall black headpiece or hat. This doll measures a total of approx 7\" tall including the tip of its hat. The other doll is in a seated position with similar brocade kimono (I\'m not sure if this is a male or female). Perhaps this is some kind of helper to the warrior? I\'m not exactly sure of its occupation. Both dolls are being sold together as a set-neither will be sold separately. I know nothing about them other than they were obtained with the other dolls from the same estate sale-all belonging to one woman who was a world traveler. These are vintages item in good condition for their age, normal wear as shown. You\'re getting it just as I did, sold strictly as is, shown & found. See photos.
