Identical single Vase from the estate of Queen Olga of Württemberg (1822 - 1892), née Grand Duchess Olga Nikolaevna Romanova, daughter of Tsar Nicholas I of Russia, was sold atsale in Munich, Germany in 2008 (link\'s align=\"center\">

Madeat Imperial Glass Factory in St. Petersburg, during the reign of Tsar Nicholas I (1825 - 1855),theperiod is rightfully called \"the golden age\" of Russian Applied Arts.

Tsar Nicholas I tooka great deal of personal interest inIGF and IPF. Thedrawings and modelsofglass and porcelain items in productionwerebrought to him for his approval on regular bases.

Heavy crystal glass bodies and plinthscut in a ribbed and diamond pattern and separated by gilt collars,with gilt bronze swans applied on either side, standing on a gilt bronze basses.

Each: height 15.5\" (39.5 cm).Heavy! Total weght 16 lb (7.25 kg)

Conversion into lampsdidn\'tchangethe original vase shapes and their glorious appearance.

Lip\'s chip and an internal stresslineinside of a glass massin upper part ofone vase(see pic).
