2 Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Dressing Trays, Super Ornate Cherubs 1894:

ONE (1) PAIR Antique Sterling Silver Dressing Trays. Each is hallmarked with what appears to be an Crowned \"F\" type mark (possibly Hanau Pseudo marks). Each is also hallmarked with London foreign import hallmarks. London hallmarks indicate the trays are Sterling Silver & carry the date mark for 1894. Super ornate design with swirls, shells, flowers, musical instruments, & Cherubs. Each tray measures approx. 7-1/4\" handle to handle x 4-3/4\" wide. Combined weight of the pair is approx. 235 grams. These items are used & in excellent condition. Some typical light surface wear & some tarnish, they could use a polish & buff. On close inspection, when held up to the light I have noted a few tiny holes (around edges & next to one of the cherubs). These issues are very minor & appear to be from manufacture rather than wear. There are spaces where they can bemonogrammedor engraved, but they have never been engraved. Sold \"as-is\" (no returns). While I have sold a few similar trays over the years, finding a matched pair of this age is quite uncommon. Please see photos for more details!
