DESIGN: A very stylish and striking pair of Art Deco Brass Articulating Reading Lamps attributed to E.F Caldwell lighting circa early 1900\'s. E.F Caldwell manufactured some of the finest high end lamps during the 19th and early 20th century rivaled only by Tiffany. The lamps articulate up and down from the heavily weighted base via the main support tube and holds in any position by means of its patented compression sleeve adjustment joint. Complimented by a stunning pair of teardrop shaped frosted glass shades bearing an early Art Deco Grecian graphic motif with original green airbrushed accents to highlight the relief. Completely manufactured of heavy solid Brass throughout and extremely well engineered and machined. CONDITION: This impressive pair of lamps are in superb original condition, completely intact andfully functional. Mild finish wear and slight tarnish patina with no damage or repair issues. Original Yost paddle switch sockets have been inspected and appear clean and safe, the power cords have been replaced with braided cotton wrapped insulated wire. The thick Deco relief graphic glass shades are both near perfect with no chips or cracks, just some faint surface markings mostly around the collars. The shades are secured with matching marked Hubbell fitters with patent dates of 1904.DIMENSIONS: The lamps general dimensions are 21\" tall with an overall width of 13\", the shade is 4\" in diameter…bulbs are NOT included.
