Hand washableonly with mild soap and water, then rinse with hot water and dry.

Trivet has 4“legs” which raise hot dishes, trays, etc. to protect your tables, counters,etc. The “legs” have vinyl covers tofurther protect your tables, etc.

Trivet ismounted on a paperboard insert from which it has never been removed so I cannotsee its bottom.

Tiny (tooshallow to be felt or to provide resistance to a fingernail) hairline“scratches” near the raised décor are manufacturing issues (evidenced by thefact they are parallel and not random as would occur from use). These are too minor to detract from itsbeauty and will not affect its service life.

Box hasminor storage wear at the edges (such as one sees in stores) but still great for gift-giving. The originalprice has been neatly obliterated in black ink as I received this as a gift.
