Please Note:  We had the pleasure of being involved with the multigenerational estate of Arthur Twining Hadley who served as President of Yale University from 1899 to 1921!  Over the next few weeks we will be offering a wealth of memorabilia, ephemera, and other wonderful items from this estate.  Follow our listings to view the wealth of items with the provenance from this fantastic estate!

Arthur Twining Hadley was married to Helen Harrison Morris who was the daughter of Luzon Buritt Morris, The 55th Governor of Connecticut!  

These two wonderful quarter plate tintypes are approximately 3 5/8\" x 5\".  One is a portrait of Helen and the other is Helen with three of her New Haven \"club\" friends!  See our listing for the history of New Haven social & other clubs!
