Offering a set of 2 vintage magazine ads featuring Easter / Spring candles by Tavern Candles - Socony-Vacuum. Both are in perfect condition-no writing, rips, folds, etc. Non-smoking home. Includes: 1. Looks like a half page ad (am unsure of magazine). Measures 13 3/4\" x 5 1/2\". I purchased this about twenty years ago. Date from previous owner (sticker on outer bag) says 1947. Includes an example display of candles along with 6 individual photos that are labeled with some goofy descriptions \"Wanna buy an Easter duck? You\'ll like me, I\'m cute. . . 2 5/8\"tall, and you can get me in yellow or white\". 2. Looks like a 1/3 page ad (but from a smaller magazine). This is from Good Housekeeping and is probably from 1947 (although undated). Measures 11 1/8\" x a bit less than 5\". Ad takes up 2/3 of page. Features same candles. . . bunny girl, duckling, bunny, bonnet girl. I had a ton of these ads years ago and framed most to display with my candles. Don\'t know why these escaped that fate!
