Straight to you from an upscale estate sale comes this Lot of 2, French, Silk, Embroidered Postcards; they each have a flap with a pocket for sending a lock of hair, a card, or somememento. In this case, they hold a business calling card and a personal calling card (see photos). The posted one is a FAN with Purple PANSIES and was sent to Chicago, IL from France dated 4-4-16. The 1918 SOUVENIR de FRANCE has the WWI ALLIED FlagS included in the design and is unposted. They measure 5 3/8\" X 3 1/2\". I do not know theirEnvironmental history.
