DESCRIPTION:
For your consideration here is a lovely antique bisque shoulder head doll who has had some \"restorations\". From a doll estate I do not know her past history but will describe her the best I can with any flaws. Reference shows similar dolls made in the late 1890s+ by German firms such as Armand Marseille, Alt Beck, Kling and others. This is a bisque shoulder head (shows multiple line crack repairs on the back shoulder head, see photos, all together intact with past repair), she has replacement porcelain leather arms, with kid leather body. Her lower legs are cloth, there is a partial label that says \"Washable Germany\" on her chest. Body is metal clip jointed at the hips and knees. This doll displays well sitting or standing with a doll stand. A \"sweet\" little face with open and close blue glass sleepy eyes that work fine, painted lashes around her eyes, feathered light brown brows, she has open mouth with upper teeth. There is a faint little dimple in her chin and lovely blush on her face. Blonde human hair wig with bangs is secure on a pate on her head, a charming older wig. Wears Turn of the Century hand made two piece black and beige dress with snaps at the waist and down the back of her blouse. She wears eyelet slip and black stockings, no shoes or undies. This \"lovely\" old doll would be a \"Treasure\" for your collection or display! Enjoy her as she is or go for further restoration! I have taken plenty of photos.
