2000 Tonner\'s Tyler \"Palm Beach Nights\" 16\" dollLE 500 from Walt Disney World Teddy Bear and Doll Show, Oct 19-21, 2000. This dollis new, never removed fromthe box, includes doll,stand and all accessories. Her outfit includesa luxurious silk charmeuse stole, and a gown accented with gold jewelry (quarter moon earrings, wrist cuffs, and necklace) and strappy sandals. Her hair color is Pale Blond, the lightest of blonds and first used with this doll.
Robert Tonner turned \"the tables on the fashion doll world with his 1999 introduction, Tyler,a 16-inch doll available in three dressed versions. The catch? She\'s not a model, but the fashion designer\". In an article in Doll Reader magazine, May 1999, written by Mary Graff, Tonner describes his \"1999 doll line, ...\'Opulent. It\'s the fabrics and the embroideries and the jewelry and everything that we\'ve been able to do to embellish the dolls\'\".This clearly states the vision of his Tyler Wentworth Collection. My collection of these dolls and outfits starts with items from 1999 and goes to 2002. I am listing the most limited editions first.
The first picture is themarketing picture; the others are of the actual doll. She is inexcellentcondition having been stored in a smoke free, climate controlled home. Please look at picture #8 to see the 2 very small grey spots on the bodice. I have not tried to remove them; they were on the outfit when I opened the box. The box is in good condition. It has some rub marks.
