I am pleased to offer you this lovely antique bisque head German child doll.Incised on the back of herbisque head is \"G & SG Germany\".Reference attributes to German maker Gans & Seyfarth, 1908 to 1922 Waltershausen, Germany.I will try to describe this doll with any flaws the best I can. Measures just under 25\" tall beinga bisquesocket head on wooden composition jointed body. Strung she is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, legs, wrists,and knees with fingers and toes accented with red lines for that \"life-like\" appearance. Little finger on the left hand shows repair, the ring finger on the right hand shows repair with the very tip missing. If you would like photos of the hands please email.Body shows wear throughout, re-paint throughout, scuffs, paint lossbut all together intact.Body is original to this head. Doll has absolutely \"beautiful\" face with open and close brown glass sleepy eyes that work fine, lovely eyes with thick upper mohair eye lashes,painted black lashes around her eyes, brown feathered brows and open mouth with upper teeth intact. Lovely blush on her \"near perfect\"face.There is a faint little dimple in her chin. I flashed inside her head and see no cracks or hairlines.It is dirty inside, there is plaster cement that was used to secure the sleepy eyes on rocker as most doll people do.Long brunette human hair wig is gorgeous,very old, but charming, there is a gold hair clip on each side. Possibly this is her original wig. Vintage red & white Swiss dot dress with embroidery and ribbon accents is lovely with snaps down the back. Doll wears vintage slip, pantaloons, stockings and shoes.Included is her old 7\" tall composition play doll. I have taken plenty of photos.
