DESCRIPTION:
This listing is for a delightful \"larger size\" antique German bisque head doll. Incised on the back of the bisque head is \"Armand Marseille, Germany, 390, A 11 M\". Reference attributes to 1890+ Germany, by Armand Marseille doll maker. This doll measures a little over 29\" tall being a bisque socket head on wooden composition jointed body. Body shows \"re-paint\", scuffs, overall wear for being 100 or so years old, all fingers intact accented with red lines for that realistic look. She is strung fine and displays well sitting or standing with a doll stand. Jointed at the shoulders, elbows, wrists, legs and knees. This doll has a \"sweet\" face with \"fixed open\" brown glass eyes, painted lashes around her eyes, light brown brush stroked brows, she has open mouth with upper teeth, there is a faint little dimple in her chin and rose color blush on her face. I flashed inside the head and do not see any cracks or hairlines. Doll wears blonde wig with bangs that slips over a pate on her head, not antique but a lovely vintage wig. She wears a white vintage gown with buttons down the back, small rip on the front but nothing too terrible, may need a few stitches. She wears slip, panties, stockings, shoes and great straw hat with flowers. Doll stand is not included in this listing. If you would like further photos or have questions please email me.
