For sale are three (3) Old Church Slavonicprinted sheets or leaves. These three leaves (with six pages of text) dated to the early19th century on heavylaid paper. Size of each sheet is about 6 1/2 in. x 8 1/2 in. Verybeautiful printing in the Cyrillic alphabet of the Old ChurchSlavonic language in black ink with red rubrication.These leaves arevery beautiful. On these threeleaves, there are fourteen (14) large initials, as well as nineteen (19) red words (see the scanned images). Also, on thesethree leaves, there are many instances of the NOMINA SACRA orSacred Names: four (4) instances of \"The Lord\"; two (2) instances of \"The Christ\"; \"The Spirit\"; eight (8) instances of \"God\"; \"Apostle\"; five (5) instances of \"The Father\"; \"Jerusalem\"; and \"Amen,\" as well as two long phrases: \"The Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God\" and \"The Holy Apostle Peter.\" Very beautiful leaves. These leaves may have stains, ink smears, anddiscoloration on thesheets, due to their age and liturgical use in the past.
