For sale are three (3) Old Church Slavonic handwritten manuscript sheets or leaves.

The three handwritten leaves (with six pages of text) come from an incomplete Old Church Slavonic handwritten manuscript book, dated to the early18th century, on heavy laid paper. Size of each sheet is about 6 1/4 in. x 8 in. Very beautiful calligraphic writing in the Cyrillic alphabet of the Old Church Slavonic language in brown ink with some red rubrication.These manuscript leaves arevery beautiful. The 1st of the manuscript leaves has two (2) large handwritten initials: 1 with red letter and 1 with black letter; it also has seven (7) handwritten words with red ink (see the first three scanned images). Also, on these three manuscript leaves, there are many instances of the NOMINA SACRA or \"Sacred Names.\" There are two (2) instances of \"God\"; two (2) instance of \"The Lord\"; \"Angel\"; and two (2) instances of \"Jerusalem.\" Very beautiful leaves. These threeleaves have stains and discoloration on thesheets, due to their age and liturgical use over the centuries.
