DescriptionThis rare trio of old handmade German SulphideMarbles, with hard-to-find figures of children, includes a boy kneeling and praying, a girl in an upside down chair and a little child with a book.
All 3 of these marbles have been polished.
Each of the figures has excellent detail and a silvery sheen with no air bubbles. The praying boy and child reading are centered, thelittle girl is just a bit off center. All marbles fluoresce under a black light.
The boy praying measures just over 2\".
The girl in the chair measures just under 2\".
The child with the book measures just over 1 3/4\".
All 3 marbles have a polished surface...the little girl has a nice clean surface with just a couple verytiny faint crescent nicks remaining, the other 2 marbles still have multiple signs of damage remaining...hits, nicks, etc. and would benefit from another polishing.
