3 Vintage Punch Boards Rex Penny Cigarettes Gambling Chesterfield Old Gold :

This consists consists of 3 punch boards. Early gambling sort of devices I would guess from the 1940s maybe. One is called Rex Special. It is very colorful and it says Rex Special Put & Take and on the reverse side it has a little slot that looks like the punch tool is inside. I haven\'t taken it out. But it is the tool that you use to punch through and see if you won anything. It lists the different prize money you get if you hit the right punch. On the back it has a serial number and a ticket number. I don\'t know what that actually means. This punch board is about 6 1/2\" by 7\" and about 3/4\" thick. Nothing has been punched I don\'t believe. The larger one that you see is called Penny Cigarettes and it measures about 7 3/4\" by 9\" and a little over 1/2\" thick. It shows a female golfer that is a litho print. The artwork is signed by the artists and it looks like Frahm I think, and it shows Chesterfield Cigarettes on the side and Old Gold cigarettes. Beautiful condition. Nothing has been punched on this one I don\'t believe. On the back it says Puncher Here. It is unused as it looks like you break through there to get the punch device underneath and I can feel the area where the puncher is. It says the size is 1000 and has a serial number and operator number and it was made by Bork Mfg. New York. A real beauty here. The last one is not in very good condition and it is called 5 cent A Sale Delicious Candy and it has some tears as you can see on the surface of the punch board. It measures about 8 3/4\" by about 5 1/2\" and about 3/4\" thick. It too has the puncher underneath the label on the back and it was made by Hamilton Manufacturing Co., Minneapolis and it has a serial number and operator number.
